Generous gifts of support
impact the daily operation of the school in
a very positive way. Your support of time, equipment, supplies,
and dollars help us continue to reach new heights.
 The school provides many opportunities for fundraising throughout the
year including Gift wrap, Grocery store script and purchasing ads in
our Yearbook.
In addition, the School conducts an Annual Fund Drive each year. This
campaign solicits current parents, past parents, faculty, staff,
grandparents and alumni. The purpose of this fundraising drive is to
secure gifts that can support all areas of need within the school. Last
year’s campaign raised more than $18,000.
Donations: Our school gratefully accepts contributions to its
various funds, such as the General Operating Fund, Principal's
Discretionary Fund, Art & Music Fund, Library Fund, Staff Appreciation
Fund, Van Reserve Fund, Major Purchases Fund, and to various scholarship
and endowment funds, including the Bokoff Memorial Scholarship Fund,
Bernard Fischer Memorial Scholarship Fund, Louis & Evelyn Detz
Endowment, Mina & Kalmoan Gastfreund Endowment and Rose & Sigmund
Strochlitz Endowment Fund. In addition, legacy giving is encouraged as a
way to ensure the continuation of quality Jewish education into the
future. It is vital to financially support southeastern Connecticut's
only Jewish day school.
For a minimum donation of $10.00, a card will be sent to the person you
designate, acknowledging your contribution. These may be used to mark
birthdays, births, anniversaries, special events, to honor special
people, and to remember loved ones.
Funds and endowments may be named for the donor or the person to be
honored. |
