At
SSA we recognize that a partnership with parents is essential to
educating children. We, therefore, promote open communication with
families to encourage continued learning, involvement with school
activities and participation in school governance.
Parents generously volunteer their time, talents and energy to help in the
office, to run the school banking program, and work with special needs
students. Parents coordinate Friday challah and school lunch programs,
and chaperone field trips. While some parents choose to augment our physical
Education program, others may choose to speak to our students on the
wide range of topics on which they are conversant. In addition, we are
proud to have our parents represent the school in the larger community.
